President and CEO of Mekanism creative advertising agency Jason Harris says it’s community, storytelling, owning a simple proposition and staying consistent with it.
Jason’s agency has worked with some of the most well-known brands, from Pepsi to Peloton, developing, defining and leading brand stories.
Today on the podcast, Jason is taking us through the brand-building and storytelling process and sharing some of the big focal points for advertising in 2021.
Jason is also sharing with us the mission of his book, The Soulful Art of Persuasion, which aims to redefine the way we view persuasion by uncovering the best parts of humanity. He says that whether we like it or not, humans are persuasive creatures by nature, and we’re persuading every day: so, how do we do that in the most authentic and truthful way?
Jason is sharing a handful of the 11 habits he shares in the book, as well as the four main principles of persuasion: originality, generosity, empathy and soulfulness.
